Olympus C7AU AC Adapter for Olympus Digital Cameras Review

Only remove the Memory Card in you camera when you have to as their is a finite amount insertions and removals specified in the lifetime of any Memory card, not to mention it could be forgotten in the reader and or damaged while outside the reader or camera.

Purchasing the AC Adapter C7AU was one of the best puchases I have made as I have two Olympus Digital Cameras, the C4040UZ and my newer model SP570UZ (Absolutely love both of them) but downloading pictures drains the batteries quickly and sometimes I have forgotten to turn the camera off after downloading resulting in lost shot opportunities.

It is absolutely a Must have item and Amazon’s vendor price was much less expensive than purchasing directly from Olympus.

Good value for the money. It is just big enough to fit my Kodak Z712…i hav to push it in carefully… but that way its compact too
check the sizes of the camera before u buy this. if ur camera is even a few mm bigger in any dimension than the Z712, then this case wud definitely not fit.
The additional comparments are good enough for the data cable, spare batteries and memory cards.

The case worked well until i screwed it. i tried to fit in my sony battery charger in the back compartment and it tore the case. So, caution here, dont try to fit too much, too tight.
its not any high quality, stitching , but is good enough for the price, if properly handled.

Olympus FE-310 8MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom (Silver) Review

I also bought this camera and experienced poor battery life. After reading the reviews I was ready to box it up and ship it back. At the last minute I decided to give it another try and work the batterys. I bought 2 each of every battery that said digital camera. I also measured the short circuit current of each type of battery. What I found is this camera (and every camera that uses AA’s) needs high current NOT high capacity.The flash is essentially a dead short. When the engineers built the bigger zoom (5X) they made the flash bigger. The bigger flash it put a hugh load on the batterys. The best batterys that I found were the Hybrios (new style NiMh that holds it charge for a year another benefit). The Sony high current also worked. When I tested it with fresh charged batterys I gave up after 80 consecutive forced flashs in a row and I got tired of testing. Previously I could get about ten flashes before the batterys failed. This included alkaline as they do not like being shorted. So bottom line is you need about 8 amps short circuit current to make the camera live. Six amps short circuit does not work and the age of the cells counts for a lot. I have tried these cells in a DSLR with the same results they last a long time.

If you need a case that can survive being run over with a truck, this is not the case for you. Inserts are made out of hard but flexible material (Feels like paperboard inside). With over 1 year of use no sign of being worn down. It does the job very nice and effectivly, I can carry it in my pocket knowing my camera is protected. Additional popout allows me to store a extra battery or SD cards.

This is a wider, more comfortable wrist strap than any that will come in the camera box as an “free” accessory. I prefer the comfort and security of these wider, padded velcro straps.

Everyone knows what a wrist strap does and some of us have had to let go of the camera suddenly. This strap won’t cut into your wrist when that happens. (It has happened to me while walking the dogs.)

As a matter of fact they are comfortable to have on your wrist and so you won’t resent it or forget to use it. My wrist is so used to wearing this kind of strap that I feel uneasy if it isn’t in place first.

There are wider straps out there and I prefer them but I did order this one for my husband who really doesn’t care but likes to shoot out the window as we drive along. He can feel the strap in place and knows that he can point and shoot (without a nag from me.)

It is not easy to insert into that tiny slot on the camera. I just used the original strap because I was in a hurry and attached this strap to that strap. One of these days….

SVAT CDP1 Deluxe Crime Deterrent Package with 2 Imitation Cameras and Aluminum Warning Sign Review

I bought these a few weeks ago and have been very happy with them, with one small disappointment. I bought them after a threat of violence and wanted something to install very quickly to deter the person until I could get a security system to back these up. I’ve had them for about 30 days so far.

The aluminum warning sign is truly huge, and it is decently thick aluminum (it does not bend, at least not very easily). I put it up in my front window (on the inside so no one can steal it of course) and you can easily read it from the road 50′ feet away. The sign alone is probably worth the money.

The two security cameras look exactly like the real ones. You really cannot tell from looking at them that they are fake. Only if you pull them down and see the wire doesn’t really go anywhere do you know they are fake. The little red led blinks as advertised, which makes it look even more real.

The only disappointment is that one LED on one camera doesn’t seem to like to blink. I think the wiring is loose, because if I push the back plate of the camera in I can get it to blink again. I plan to call for a replacement.

Make sure you mount these in places that are hard to get to (so people can’t check to see if they are fake) and also hard for people to approach without getting “seen” by the cameras. As long as they don’t know they are fake, AND CANNOT GET TO THEM WITHOUT BEING SEEN, these are just as good as the real thing. Use one to “cover” the approach to the other one, like I did, if you can.

I should add that I installed the cameras outdoors. So far the one that works, still “blinks” even at 20 degrees Fahrenheit. I don’t know if they will stop operating if it gets bitterly cold.
