First I will say that mine lasted for one and a half years before it broke (there is now something wrong with the lens and any picture I take is extremely blurry).
It was good for the price when I bought it, and I didn’t need professional-quality images — I mainly wanted to take pictures of my craft projects, and I also ended up taking many portraits and vacation photos. For these purposes it worked pretty well.
The battery life was pretty impressive — recently it lasted for two demanding days touring Washington and a Smithsonian museum.
It’s very easy to get used to using this camera, and the video quality is certainly not bad.
The zoom is pretty good, but its farthest zoom setting is hardly worth using as the pictures turn out very grainy.
Mine was the green one — such a great color and I can’t say it’s not something I care about .
If you’re looking for a nice, cheap, reliable point-and-shoot camera, this is a good way to go. I’ll miss mine a lot!

Camera arrived in satisfactory time and in good condition. The Samsung dual screen is an excellent camera the pictures are sharp and clear and the face recognition and image stabilization work great. The view screen is large and bright and doubles as a touch screen interface which is responsive but takes some getting use too. More thought could have been put into the manual because the instructions are vague and useless or total absent on using the numerous functions that the camera apparently has. Manual aside the camera is excellent and the outer screen is sheer genius. It allows for perfect self portraits and couples who don’t want to hand their camera to a stranger every time they want an intimate picture while on a date. There are also settings which use the outer screens to help keep the attention of less than cooperative photo subjects (e.g. babies or ppl with short attention spans). All is all this camera is more than worth the price tag and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great point and shoot.

Samsung 12.2 Mp 5X Opt Zoom 3.5IN Ts LCD with Gps Bt Red Review

With GPS and wireless, this is the future of cameras and many electronics. It is easy to use and takes very good quality photos for a compact. And of course it has GPS and Wifi/Bluetooth. The touchscreen is large and is very easy to use (the easiest I’ve ever used).

I’d like to give this a 4.5 stars rating since the issues I had with it are minor: 1) the GPS can be a bit slow getting the initial fix and 2) the touchscreen is a bit sensitive sometimes causing it to bring up menus when you don’t want to, and 3) I have a preference for regular SD cards verses micro SD.

I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and overall I really enjoy it and the my larger digital SLR (without GPS) is collecting dust on the shelf.

I like the USB recharge feature. Lots of ways to recharge. No charger box to fool with. Picture quality a bit off in low light or action, but a good trade off for price and small size. Am buying a second one!
